Berkeley College's New York men's soccer team defeated Cooper Union 2-0 today to earn their second consecutive Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) championship berth.Junior forward Alexis Monceaux, fresh off of being named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Player of the Week, gave Berkeley the lead off of an assist from sophomore defender Jabneel Springer.
Freshman forward Lucas Pucheta added to the lead off of a pass from sophomore forward Guillermo Moscoso.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lauga Oskarsdottir earned her fifth shutout of the season with three saves.
