Christ Allou and Ignace Fortunat were selected to the 2009 Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference All-Conference men's soccer team after leading Berkeley College to the championship game."Christ and Ignace were clearly our best players on the pitch and well deserving of this recognition," said coach Stavros Zomopoulos.
2009 marked Berkeley's second season of varsity competition and the team surprised everyone by carrying a three game win streak at the end of the season to make it to the conference championship before losing to Albany College of Pharmacy 4 to 1.
