Berkeley, riding a two-game winning streak, was neck and neck with CNJ for the first eight minutes of the first half before the Lions went on a 20-2 run from which the Bulldogs never recovered. The Lions would cruise the rest of the way to a 96 to 50 win.
Berkeley was led by Devin Bennett with 12 points, the only Bulldog to reach double figures. Prior to last night's game Berkeley was averaging 78 points per game.
Berkeley next plays Wentworth Institute of Technology in the first round of the Ramapo College Tip-Off Tournament this Saturday at 5:30 P.M. at the Bill Bradley Center at Ramapo.
