NJ MEN'S BASKETBALL SPLITS FIRST TWO GAMES

The New Jersey men's basketball team lost their first game of the season to Passaic County Community College despite leading at halftime by a score of 41 to 31.

The Panthers stormed back in the second half and tied the game with approximately five minutes remaining before pulling ahead for good for a 74 to 65 win.


Berkeley was led by Eric Granger (West Side/Newark, NJ), who led all scorers with 22 points.



Berkeley bounced back in their second game of the season with a 79 to 75 win over Sussex County Community College. The Bulldogs led by as many as 14 in the second half before a late rally by Sussex closed the gap.



Berkeley was led by Donovan Black (Morristown/Morristown, NJ) with 19 points and Eric Granger with 18 points.



The Bulldogs next play at City College of New York on Sunday at 1 P.M.
