The Berkeley College New York women's basketball team fell to Southern Virginia University 73-55 in the first round of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Championships.
Led by junior forwards Taisha Sherman and Janay Collins with 16 points and 14 points respectively, the Knights fell behind early before a spirited second half fell short. Junior guard Aiyesha Brown added 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
The team finishes their season today with a game against Penn State Fayette at 5:30 P.M.
