WOMEN FALL IN FINAL


The Berkeley College women's basketball team fell six points short of winning their first United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship on Saturday, falling to conference rival Albany College of Pharmacy 60 to 54.

The Knights were led by All-American forward Milan Germany with 14 points and 15 rebounds. She was joined in double figures by honorable mention All-American guard Aiyesha Brown with 14 points and guard Janay Thomas with 10 points. Forward Rachel Thomas contributed 9 points on 4 for 5 shooting.

Both Milan Germany and Aiyesha Brown were named to the All-Tournament team.

The team ends their third season 14-10.
