Despite quickly falling behind by two goals to Cooper Union, the Berkeley Knights men’s soccer team knew the game was far from over.
Led by forward Bryan Barrera, the Knights staged a rousing comeback with three unanswered goals in the second half to win their first game as a member of the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference by a score of 3 to 2.
Barrera led the Knights with a goal and two assists while goalie Jonathan Graneros earned the victory with eleven saves.
The Knights are now 1-0. Their next game is on the road against the Culinary Institute of America on Sunday, October 12, at 1 P.M.
