All three Berkeley College varsity soccer programs not only won on Saturday, but also managed to shut out each of their opponents on the same day for the first time all while playing all three matches at their respective home fields.
The day started with an important conference win for the men's program with a 2-0 victory over Culinary Institute of America. The Knights were led by Dare Aniyikaye and Andrew Tuma-Waku scoring on assists by Joachim Moe. Camilo Montes secured another shut out with three saves.
The win improves the Knights' record to 8-2 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.
That game was followed by the women's first game of the season after Sarah Lawrence postponed their match earlier in the week. The women dominated Medgar Evers 11-0 to start the season 1-0 and 1-0 in the conference. Kerry Ann Houghton managed six of the eleven goals with Frida Sintiem adding three goals. Peta-Gay Connell managed the shut out win in net with one save.
The New Jersey men finished the day with a late evening match against Valley Forge Christian College in which they overwhelmed the undermanned Patriots with a 7-0 victory. The Knights dominated in every aspect of the game, putting up 48 shots to the Patriots 12 while playing 25 players to the Patriots 12.
Five different Knights scored with Emmanuel Awoginba and David Cardenas netting two goals a piece and Pierce Langlois and David Gonzalez combining for the shut out in the net. The win returns the Knights to .500 on the season at 3-3-2.
The New York men host national champion Briarcliffe College on Wednesday at 7 P.M. The New Jersey men return to action on Thursday in a home match against Penn College at 7 P.M. The women host Albany Pharmacy on Saturday as part of a doubleheader at 1 P.M.

NY WINS SECOND CONFERENCE GAME
The Berkeley College New York men's soccer team defeated Sarah Lawrence College 6-1 in HVIAC Conference play to improve to 7-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference.
Sarah Lawrence got on the board first at the 19:05 mark to take the 1-0 lead. The Knights would tie it a little more than eight minutes later on a goal by Dare Aniyikaye assisted by Ahmet Colak. The teams would go into the half tied before Berkeley would explode with five unanswered goals, three of which came in the first ten minutes of the second half. Abdelwahab Mohamed would score twice and assist on another. Aniyikaye would add a second goal to his line for the night and Mathias Valle and Andrew Tuma-Waku would also find the back of the net. Tuma-Waku would add an assist and Colak would add a second assist.
The Knights would outshoot the Gryphons 28-3 and 13-1 on goal.

NY STREAK ENDS
The Berkeley College New York men's soccer team saw their six game winning streak come to an end on Monday night in their 4-0 loss to Brooklyn College. The loss drops the Knights' record to 6-2 on the season. They return to HVIAC play this Wednesday at 8 P.M. against Sarah Lawrence College at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn.

SMITH PLACES 75TH AT BARD
Freshman Sean Smith placed 75th out of 187 runners at the Bard College Invitational on Saturday completing the course in 30:13 with a 6:06 split. He was followed closely behind by Gioser Torrealba at 33:07 with a 6:40 split in 130th place. Emmanuel Garcia had his best run of the year with a 41:46 and 8:25 split for the 8K course.
NY EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO SIX GAMES
The Berkeley College New York men's soccer team continued their best start in program history with a 4-1 win over Keystone College to improve to 6-1 on the season.
The Knights got on the board at the 13:05 mark on a goal by Andrew Tuma-Waku off of an attempted clear by the keeper. Keystone would respond seven minutes later to tie the game, but Abdelwahab Mohamed would score to give the advantage back to Berkeley off an assist from Ahmet Colak just before the half ended.
The Knights would add two late goals after the 80th minute by Stian Ness and Dare Aniyikaye on assists from Mohamed and Sebastien Rousseau to put the game out of reach. Camilo Montes earned the win in net with three saves as the Knights outshot Keystone 21-10 for the match.

Three days after losing by eight goals, the Knights won by eight in order to nearly equalize their goal differential this season. To date the Knights have scored 14 goals and given up 15 with every game but the last two decided by one goal or a tie.
The Knights got on the board early with a goal by Paul Logan 1:42 into the match on an assist by Emmanuel Awoyinfa. Eric Lourenco would score two consecutive goals in a span of less than three and a half minutes to extend the lead to 3-0 by the 8:28 mark on assists by Joseph Canal and Awoyinfa. Canal would score twice on assists by Ramon Arce to make it 5-0 going into the half.
The Knights would come out shooting in the second half with four more unanswered goals to make it 9-0 on goals by Arce, Awoyinfa, Issa Musalaev, and Shane Hollimon before Penn State would ruin the shutout with less than two minutes left to play on a goal by Richard Wood.

NY BLANKS WEBB
The Berkeley College New York men's soccer team entered Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on a roll having won four in a row and their streak continued with an 8-0 win over Webb Institute to improve to 5-1 on the season.
The Knights managed five goals in the first half in a span of just over twelve minutes led by two goals from Ahmet Colak and two goals by Andrew Tuma-Waku. Tuma-Waku would also add an assist in the second half.
Goalkeeper Gustavo Moreno recorded his first shutout of the season while facing only one shot on goal. The Knights return to action on Saturday as they travel to Keystone College for a 3 P.M. matchup.

The Eagles got on the board relatively quickly, managing four goals within the first 31 minutes of play to lead 4-0 at the half. The Eagles would continue to pour it on in the second half with four more goals while taking 35 shots to Berkeley's 1 for the contest.

NJ TIES CSI
The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team tied the College of Staten Island 0-0 today. The team's record is now 1-2-2 on the season. The Knights were led by goalkeeper Pierce Langlois who recorded his second shutout of the season with eight saves.

NJ FIELDS MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Berkeley College New Jersey fielded men's and women's cross country for the first time in it's history yesterday as seven athletes competed at the Ramapo College Roadrunner Invitational at Garret Mountain.
For the women, Araina Cook, Alicia Morales, Daylin Nova, and Linda Bennet competed. For the men, Sean Smith, Gioser Torrealba, and Emmanuel Garcia competed.
