In the first 18 minutes of play, SUNY ESF would score two
goals and go up 2-0 early. Dillon Buchberg of SUNY ESF had both goals. SUNY ESF
would score again late in the first half and go up 3-0 entering the second
period.
In the second frame, Kyle Bardwell of SUNY ESF would score
in the 56th minute of play to increase their score, 4-0. The Knights
would fight back and threaten several times. Berkeley would put one on the
board late when Ibrahina Ndiaye headed one into the goal off an initial shot
that hit the post from Hasan Sezer, who was awarded the assist. The lead was
cut to 4-1 with nine minutes remaining. The score would remain final.
The Knights return to action on Wednesday, October 23, against Sarah Lawrence College at Aviator Field, Brooklyn, NY for an 8:00 PM
conference match-up.
