The Berkeley College New York men's head soccer coach, Stavros Zomopoulos, was selected the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2013 Coach of the Year for guiding the men's soccer team to their best record ever.
The Knights were 16-5 on the season and earned a bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship Tournament for the first time in their program's history while going undefeated in regular season conference play before losing in the HVIAC championship game.
It is the first time coach Zomopoulos has been selected as Coach of the Year and the fourth time he has guided the team to the conference championship game.
