NY DEFEATS BRIARCLIFFE, ADVANCES TO SEMIFINALS!

The sixth-seeded Berkeley College (NY) Knights upset the defending USCAA National Champions and third-seeded Briarcliffe College Bulldogs in penalty kicks. The hard fought Empire State matchup came down to the Knight's goalkeeper Camilo Montes. After ten penalty kicks the score was knotted up at three each when Montes scored the next penalty kick and saved the subsequent Briarcliffe attempt.
The Bulldogs were not shy in attacking the goal, launching 21 shots to Berkeley's 9 attempts. The Knights will face off against the second-seeded University of Maine-Fort Kent Bengals Friday, at 3:45pm (est.) in the USCAA Men's Soccer National Championship semifinals.
