NY MEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATS RPI

 Six players finished in double-figures as the Berkeley College Knights (NY) won their home opener 122-95 over RPI in a non-conference contest at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Berkeley (2-1) was led by senior forward Danzel Whyte (Brooklyn, NY/Teachers Preparatory) who posted a double-double with 24 points on 11-14 FG shooting and 11 rebounds. Senior guard Jovan Bovell (Jamaica, NY/Jamaica) added 18 points and dished out a team high eight assists with sophomore guard Keenan Langston (Brooklyn Academy/Brooklyn, NY) contributing 17 points. Overall, the Knights recorded a team high 34 assists and were a force on the boards with a 76-46 rebounding edge.
The Knights continue the homestand with a USCAA match up against Williamson Free Trade on Saturday, November 23 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Tip off isat 3:30PM
