NJ WINS THIRD STRAIGHT

The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team extended their winning streak to three games with a 3-1 win over #9 ranked Penn College.

The Knights got on the board almost immediately 2:43 into the match on a header by Jacob Tafur for a 1-0 lead. The Knights would go into the half tied before Penn College would tie it less than three minutes into the second half. The Knights would bounce back, however, less than six minutes later on a goal by Emmanuel Awoginba on an assist by Ramon Arce. The Knights would put it away at the 82:24 mark on a goal by Ricardo Franco. Pierce Langlois would secure the win for the Knights with five saves.

Penn College would manage 15 shots to Berkeley's 11, but Berkeley would earn 7 corner kicks to Penn College's 4 for the match. The Knights improve to 4-3-2 on the season.

The Knights return to action on Saturday at 12:30 at NJIT versus #4 ranked West Virginia Tech.
