The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team defeated York College 2-0 to improve to 5-2 on their current eight game home stand.
The Knights scored 13:57 into the match on a nice give and go from Issa Musalaev to William Cardenas. Despite multiple chances the Knights wouldn't score again until the 83:16 mark on a nice header from Ray Scalfani off of a crossing pass from Bryan Costa.
Pierce Langlois secured the shut out in the net with two saves, a key one coming late in the second half on a one-handed dive from a shot inside the box.
The win improves the team's record to 6-5-2 on the season with #1 ranked University of Maine Fort Kent coming Saturday for a 2 P.M. match at NJIT.
