NJ TIES LANCASTER

The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team tied Lancaster Bible College 1-1 despite dominating the game in ball possession and shots on goal. Berkeley is now 1-1-1 on the season.

The Knights struck early with Ramon Arce (Bernardsville/Bernardsville, NJ) scoring 2:47 into the match on his own rebound. Lancaster would tie the match with a penalty kick at the 37:54 mark and would remain scoreless the rest of the way despite Berkeley outshooting Lancaster 24 to 11 and 9 to 4 in shots on goal.

The Knights were plagued with 18 foul calls against Lancaster's 9 and were hit with four yellow cards and a red card to none for Lancaster.

The Knights return to action with their first home game of the season against Albright College on September 14 at 7:30 P.M. at NJIT in Newark.
