The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team scored with only four seconds remaining in the first half and then held on to secure their first win of the season to improve to 1-1 on the season. The win secured second place in the Union College Classic for the Knights.
Junior defender Danny Vieceli (Kearny/Kearny, NJ) scored on a free kick from the left side at the 44:56 mark of the first half. Freshman goalkeeper Pierce Langlois (Mountain Lakes/Mountain Lakes, NJ) made 9 saves for the shutout. Langlois made 6 saves in the 1-0 loss to Union the day before meaning he now has 17 saves versus 1 goal on the season.
The Knights return to action on Wednesday, September 4 at 4 P.M. against Lancaster Bible College.
