The New Jersey men's basketball team continued their most successful season in program history with a convincing 75-72 win over Milligan College tonight in Newark.
The Knights were led by freshman guard Isaac Robinson (Conwell Egan Catholic/Trenton, NJ), who led all scorers with 23 points while adding a game high 16 rebounds. He was joined by freshman guard Darryl Robinson (Franklin/Somerset, NJ) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds while also playing all 40 minutes.
The Knights took the lead for good with 15:12 remaining in the first half and would not relinquish it again. They went into the half up three, 41-38 while leading by as much as ten in the first half.
The win improves the team's record to 6-7 on the season and already ties the program record for 6 wins in a season. The Knights return to action on Sunday, December 30 at 7 P.M. versus Alleghenny College. The game will be played at Stevens Institute of Technology.
