The New Jersey men's basketball team defeated Allegheny College 57-54 to improve to 7-7 on the season, ending 2012 at .500 for the first time in program history while also producing the most wins in a single season for the program.
The Knights were led by freshman guard Isaac Robinson (Conwell Egan Catholic/Trenton, NJ) who led all scorers with 21 points and 9 rebounds on 8 for 14 shooting and 4 for 8 from three-point range. He was joined in double figures by senior guard Gary Williams (Marist/Bayonne, NJ) with 14 points, and 10 points a piece by freshman guards Darryl Robinson (Franklin/Somerset, NJ) and Hassan Abdullah (Trenton Central/Trenton, NJ).
The Knights return to action on Saturday, January 5, at home versus Vaughn College at 6 P.M.
