WOMEN WIN THIRD STRAIGHT
The women's basketball team continues to defy all odds this season, coming back from 15 points down with a little more than seven minutes remaining in the game to defeat Apprentice School by a final score of 65-61 to improve to 7-4 on the season. The win marked the third in a row for the team after winning the NHTI New Year's Tournament.
The Knights were led by junior forward Milan Germany (Notre Dame Prep/Bronx, NY), who led all scorers with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Sophomore guard Janay Thomas (Longwood/Queens, NY) added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights.
The Knights return to action next weekend when they travel to Newport News, Virginia, for the MLK Classic at Apprentice. They face USCAA power house Briarcliffe College on Friday at 4 P.M.
