BERKELEY DEFEATS CCNY

The Berkeley College New Jersey men's basketball team defeated City College of New York on Sunday to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Berkeley once again got out to an early lead as it has in every game this season and led by ten at halftime, 37 to 27, before City College of New York chipped away in the second half and ended regulation in spectacular fashion by hitting a game tying three pointer with no time left on the clock to send the game into overtime.

Berkeley took over quickly in the overtime period going on a 6-0 run and never looking back with a final score of 89 to 81.

Berkeley was led by freshman guard Jarrel Young with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists and by junior Donovan Black with 22 points.

Berkeley next competes against the College of New Jersey on Wednesday at 8 P.M. in Ewing, NJ.
