The men's basketball teams from the New York City campus and the Garret Mountain campus took part in a preseason scrimmage on Friday, October 24, in what will hopefully become an annual tradition. "It was a great opportunity for both programs and their respective coaching staffs to create some live game action before they open their regular season," said Brian Maher, Athletic Director for Berkeley College. "Nothing is more intense than when these two respective campuses compete against one another."
The Garret Mountain campus opens their season on Monday, November 3, at Passaic County Community College. The New York City campus opens their season on Thursday, November 6, in the Hudson Valley Men's Conference preseason tournament at Pratt Institute.
