The Berkeley College New York men's team never looked better in the first half against #1 seeded NHTI on Saturday, and never looked worse in the second half as the game told a tale of two stories.
The Knights dominated early, leading the Lynx by as much as 19 points in the first half before settling for a 40-23 lead at halftime that included several highlight dunks.
The Knights would push the lead to 20 early in the second half before the Lynx came out on fire going on a 30-10 run to tie it at 53-53 with 10:53 remaining in the game. At the 5:19 mark the Lynx would take the lead for good and would close out the game for an 84-76 win, outscoring the Knights 61-36 in the second half.
The Knights were led by All-American Jose Stable with 25 points and 7 rebounds. He was joined in double figures by Kaseem Williams with 15, Danzel Whyte with 11, RJ McFarlane with 10, and Elijah Craig with 10. Craig also had a team-high 14 rebounds.
The loss drops the Knights to 10-7 on the season. They will square off against The New School at 4 P.M. tomorrow.
