The Berkeley College New York men's basketball team fell short in their bid to earn their first national championship, falling for the second straight year to Andrews University who have now won consecutive national championships.
Despite holding a 39-33 lead at halftime, the Knights were outscored 39-19 in the second half to fall 72-58 to the Cardinals. Turnovers cost the Knights as they committed 26 to the Cardinals 6. The Cardinals would earn 25 points off of those turnovers to the Knights 8.
The Knights were led by Jose Stable who had 17 points and 9 rebounds and Danzel Whyte who added 10 points. The Knights finish the season at 20-9, their best season ever. Congratulations Knights on a wonderful season!
