The Berkeley College New York men's basketball team lost the first game of the Borough of Manhattan Community College tournament to Bergen Community College by a score of 86 to 81 before rebounding to defeat the host by a score of 81 to 62 to improve to 3-1 on the season.Sophomore Damir Redzepagic (Cardinal Spellman/Bronx, NY) led all scorers with 20 points in the opening round loss to Bergen while also grabbing 11 rebounds.
Freshman Jose Stable (EBC HS for Public Service/Brooklyn, NY) dominated the action in the game against Borough of Manhattan by leading all scorers with 32 points.
The Knights next compete at the Eastern Connecticut Tournament with Emerson College and SUNY Purchase.
