Freshman guard Jovan Bovell (Jamaica HS/Jamaica, NY) earned Most Valuable Player honors at the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference men's basketball championships after scoring 25 and 22 points, respectively, in the semifinals and finals.Bovell also managed 10 rebounds in the semis and was 6 for 13 from three-point range for the tournament.
