The Berkeley College Knights men's basketball team battled back from a double digit second half deficit to get within three points only to run out of time against Borough of Manhattan Community College Saturday.

Down 15 points with four and a half minutes remaining in the game, the Knights rallied to 79 to 76 with just under a minute remaining in the game, but could not get the final defensive stop they needed to fall 85 to 78.

Seniors Willie Bowman (Bronx/Monsignor Scanlan) and Jonathan Pena (Brooklyn/Park West) led the Knights with 24 points and 22 points, respectively. Berkeley finished the regular season with a 9-8 record.

The Knights begin play as the #2 seed in the HVMAC Tournament next weekend, Saturday, February 21, at Sarah Lawrence College.
