Coach Butler joins the Berkeley College Athletic Department with more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. After completing a stellar collegiate playing career at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; coach Butler was drafted by the Columbus Crew in the first round of the MLS draft. He continued his professional soccer career with various teams until his retirement in 2008.
Coach Butler has earned his USSF “A” National Coaching License and currently serves on the LIJSL ODP Staff. In addition, coach Butler is a staff coach for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders W- League Professional Team and is the Director of Operations for the highly respected Five Star Soccer Academy.
